de Bree 2025 - A remarkable find of Synneuron annulipes new to Mongolia (Diptera, Canthyloscelidae)

The discovery of Synneuron annulipes Lundström, 1910, a midget of the Diptera family Canthyloscelidae, is reported at Tsenkher, Mongolia, the southernmost record of the species in the Palaearctic and 4000 kilometres eastwards from its closest observation.
